Day 188 Perspective

Caught this image walking out of Hobby Lobby tonight. I like the vanishing point perspective. The shadowed archways add a mystical element for me -- or at least a touch of intrigue.

Did I mention Hobby Lobby?  Christmas decor is out.

Day 187 Born again

Born again.

Another beautiful sunset. Storm clouds just add to the effect. This is tonight's sunset viewed from The Woodlands just north of the mall.

The last fleeting rays of sunshine glowing off this building in the Woodlands.

Day 186 Sunrise Panos

 Sunrise the morning. This is a three image panoramic. I used Photoshop to stitch these together.

 I stepped the exposure down 2 steps to get the deeper colors. This is on my Canon SD 950.  

We usually think of sunsets and their beauty, but sunrises have their majesty as well.

Day 184 - Another Sky

I liked the dramatic effect of contrasting the dark building of my workplace with the blue sky peeking through white and a bit of storm clouds. Yes, it's the metaphor I'm feeling tonight.  I know this is sky images on two consecutive days. Honestly I didn't think of that when I took today's image. Don't know about you but I need the hope of something better to lift my spirits from time to time. Each of us, as we view this image, are at different places in life. Some good, some otherwise. If we could really connect, you and I, then I would send you my sense of something that can lift you out of your place and lift you into light.  I hope through my images, and perhaps my words at times, can give you a smile, an understanding or just that little something that can help make your burdens a bit lighter to make it through one more day and night. My heart to yours...

Day 183 Sky

The sky is a bit dark and angry to night. Not saying that's my mood...

 But the good news is that this is the half-way mark of the project. Congrats to those that still view from time to time. I hope you've found an image or two that  you enjoy.  We'll see how the next 6 months go.
