Day 271 Dressed for Winter

It doesn't seem we get too many days in the Houston area that warrant cold equipment. But this little gal sure looks cute in this outfit.

Day 268 Bugged

This guy was hanging on the window on the 2nd floor walk as I left work today. I've been a bit down and ... well, just bugged about things at work. And see, here it the proof! Don't know the official name, but we just called them stink bugs. You figure it out...

Day 267 Exam

Eye exam today. This is the gauntlet I ran to see if I can still see... Not sure what that device was on the far right, but fortunately I evaded that one. And yes I can still see correctable to 20/20.  Seems strange to say that when I had at least 20/17 when I was younger. I had my first eye exam when I was 21 so it may have been better. Old age and a tendency for high glucose levels tends to wreak havoc on what was once pretty good vision. Many things in this world I don't wish to see. Some things I wish I hadn't seen. Still many glorious things I wish to see -- and hope to photograph. I hope to get in good enough shape again to one day to hike up high in the Rockies.  Or perhaps to see some of the scenes that my nephew Scott has shared on his blog I Keep Running

Day 266 Journey Home

Blue Skies over Texas. Plenty of clouds as well. Not sure where exactly, but somewhere over north Texas. The clouds and blue sky were beautiful making my flight home enjoyable.

 I liked this view in the Hilton Garden Inn Hotel in Bartlesville. This was my view sitting at breakfast this morning.  Just an interesting view.
